Misc

By 12:35 pm the Farewell to the FL9 excursion was traveling through northern New Milford, Connecticut along River Road at the Rooster Tail Hollow crossing. Just one week earlier, this site had been washed out by heavy rains and the tracks were left dangling about 30 feet over the normally small stream. The Housatonic Railroad was able to fix the washed out tracks in time for this excursion. (GPS N41.6148 W73.4498)
