At noon the Strates Train was caught passing the Canaan Union Station which was severly damaged by an arson fire in October, 2001. Although the station has seen better days, there is hope for the station since a private group is working on restoring the crippled station. Recently, some foundation work has been done as can be seen in some of the pictures.
